Letting Go…

So many times in our lives, we hold on tight to the most mundane thing we ought to let go.
The only reason we find ourselves holding on to this is because we lack the strength to let go. A bad habit you wish to stop but feel you cannot, a friend that keeps bringing you down, that toxic relationship that keeps tearing you apart piece by pieces, that terrible job that keeps you away from achieving milestones in life, that particular course you find no joy in doing but have to because your parent decide you must do it, that abusive marriage that will one day take your life if you don’t walk away soon…

Quite a lot of choices we have made in the past that have ceased to give us joy but we choose to stay in it because we thought we lack the strength to move past them. My dear, you become a demon to that ‘ish’ the day you walk away. Stop allowing what you can control, control you.

You are not built for that darling, you are built to conquer, to fly, to soar and to triumph.
Let go today and watch yourself be a King over this circumstance. It might appear like you cannot. You might feel so bad few days after you choose this path but trust me, after a while you’d realize that’s the best life decision you can make for yourself…

Have a beautiful day ahead!

  1. Thank you for this post. I had issues with letting go at some point in my life. But the moment I made up my mind about it and till date. I found peace and have been living a happier life. Letting go and living happier is something we owe ourselves. Thanks for the post. Keep writing. I love you
