Can we stop already with this vision, dreams, imagination, hallucination, delusions, and sicknesses aftermath or whatever name you choose to call eet? Like I don’t quite understand anymore? What do we even take God for? He is not a bell button that you just push to answer to your tune!

This is a rant and it is an upsetting rant!

 

I am a Christian and I believe so much in God. I don’t try to argue when people tell me God gave them a vision. It’s none of my business if it is not about me (I try so hard to stay out of people’s business cos I don’t want them poking in mine). But if you tell me the vision is a message to me, I have my own prayer altar and I am my own prophet. I say my thank you and go on my knees to pray about it. The annoying part is now when you start disturbing me about it. Like what the f**k!!!

 

All these so-called brothers that now hide behind “God says you are my wife”… Can you allow God confirm to me as well before you start getting ahead of your self. Ladies, please am I the only one in these shoes? I need to know???

 

All of you claiming to be receiving vision, you had better be sure. It could be malaria or typhoid delusions…hehehehehehe…

 

The way some dude sef will personalise this vision ehn…they are so confident and start addressing you as my wife, my chocomilo, my pepperoni, my love, my soulmate, my heartbeat, Mrs this and Mrs that…but brother, this is not fair na…let me receive vision too na so the love will not be one sided!

 

I don’t intend to be mean but everything is a process. You cannot want to eat jollof rice and just mix all the ingredients with raw rice, you have to cook it. You don’t just assume because you have all the ‘vision’, you can just claim a sister and she is now your wife. Haba Uncle, it doesn’t work like that.

 

They say it takes two to tango. I cannot even imagine myself agreeing to a vision with someone I do not love to begin with. So allow us catch feelings first and then we can discuss ‘vision’.

      • I’m not trying to be obnoxious. But some sisters too can be annoying too. The way this babe was going about acting as if I had something with her begs a question of her sanity.
        I believe in vision but one sided revelation is a cook up. that’s how people ends up in abusive relationship bound by the notion of ‘vision’

        • I can clearly relate with your point. But then, the way some ‘brother’ will shove this so-called vision down your throat as thought the fact that they’ve ‘gotten’ it is a confirmation of the relationship…it irks to say the least!

          Besides, most ladies will clearly debunk it if they don’t like the person in question

          May God give us wisdom to discern.

          • Yeah I agree. Like you said God is not a wicked father. There must some level of attraction between the party involved or else it will boomerang. Like I always said – spirituality doesn’t cancel common sense. If you have no confirmation, please my sister dont let the brothers use revelation or whatever tools at their disposal born out if desire to lure you to commit to something that isn’t of God.

  3. It’s so bad these days that several “brothers” will come up to you saying the Lord showed them in a vision that you are their wife…. Hehehehee…. Is the Lord now encouraging polyandry ???

  4. Interesting topic here, but i think you need to see this in another light.

    Gone are the days when “Brothers” go about saying The Lord said or The Lord Showed me……

    These days you see ladies go around spiritual homes and so called prayer houses looking for what is not lost all in the name of “i need to know if HE is THE ONE”

    This is total rubbish and very not scriptural….. Is God a master of confusion? Emphatically NO. Is God himself not LOVE? If people believe so much in the so called visions and sayings of the prayer houses where then is the place of their personal relationship with GOD? Did they not read in the holy book they believe that if they ask they will receive and knock that GOD would open? why then cant they ask and receive and talk to him and hear him speak instead of listening to what these prayer peeps have to say. If they call him father then there should be a relationship and he should be able to talk to them as children, except the fatherhood ain’t true.

    Of course i believe in God and i know he talk to people but if he can talk through these prayer peeps he CAN ALSO talk to EVERY individual. HE DIED FOR and is a GOD OF ALL not only these prayer peeps.

    This reminds me of my days in higher institution; i walked into this lady’s room. I was one of her toasters, and as a matter of fact three of my friends were actually on her case trying to test our masculine prowess and ability. It was a Bet of WHO WILL HAVE HIS WAY “IN”………

    I got into her room and saw a bucket of water, a lit candle and the names of me and my friends clearly written and i found her reading some verses of psalms on our names (the four guys on her case)

    Being a sharp Lagos boy, i smiled and asked her what was the meaning of all that and she explained the prophet said for her to do some prayers on our names to decide which of us is HER MAN…

    I laughed so hard and then she said as a matter of fact In her destiny and future (the prophet looked into her future she says) there is no relationship with her and a TWIN saying it cannot be me…..

    the other guys too didnt have their way as the prophet gave reasons too.

    Bottomline, the prophet eventually dated her back then saying HE was THE ONE FOR HER, but to my amazement these guys only did that for ONE YEAR…

    They ain’t even married today. She got what she went in quest for…

    So who is deceiving who? Obviously God is not an author of confusion, and we have an opportunity of talking to him and he talks back.

    In my opinion, DO YOUR PRAYERS TO HIM and let him guide you biko…. stop the search for MR or MRS Right from THESE PRAYER HOUSES….

    WHO VISION EPP?

    • I am still in shock…The length at which some ladies go though all in the name of getting the right one! May God help us all and not make help go with the wrong choice in the name of looking for Mr Right!
